Project Summary
We are extremely proud to partner with Yorkshire Property Developers Ltd, as their principle renewable energy contractor. GB Solar have recently installed two PV and Battery systems on their latest new-build homes in Sheffield.
We designed a 4.68kWp system, comprising 12 market-leading Jinko panels on a East / West split roof. The new home owners will generate 3,450kW of clean energy each year, worth over £1000 (at a rate of 30p/kWh) The contractor also opted for a 5.2kWh GivEnergy battery, enabling the home owner to store surplus energy for use in the evenings. The GivEnergy portal will allow them to monitor whole-house electricity production, consumption and energy management including Smart Grid integration and Off-peak charging, to enhance savings further.
As our images show, we installed an attractive array using the in-roof method. This is a perfect option to incorporate solar into a new-build property, as it easily installed in new roof installation process.
