Mr Wheater, Pontefract
Project Summary
We were pleased to have worked with Mr Wheater for a Solar PV installation on his home in Pontefract. Installing a 6.96kWp system, we designed a system which boasted the latest modern and high spec components including x16 435W Jinko solar panels, 6kW Enphase energy inverter and 13.5kWh of battery storage in the GivEnergy All-in-One. Enphase is a leading name in microinverter technology, and we used 16 microinverters (attaching to each solar panel) to ensure each panel operates individually and to full optimisation and efficiency.
We use bespoke software to design a proposal that is personalised to our customer, and Mr Wheater received projections of proposed generation and savings based on his current energy usage at home. This system is estimated to generate 5358kWh through solar alone, giving our client 78% self consumption, enabling him to become much less reliant on the grid. The benefits would of course enable him to run a much more greener and sustainable home, but also reduce his annual electricity bill by approximately 82%.
The GB Solar team gained full DNO approval prior to install, and completed the project with a customer handover pack and certification. Our install team were onsite for a total of two days.
