GB Solar Case Study
Mr Ward, Worksop
Project Summary
We were happy to present our 'GB Solar Solution' to our client, Mr Ward, who was looking for a PV and storage system for his home in Worksop. Following a full customer consultation and home survey, we created a design using our bespoke software, which would allow x17 420Watt Panels to be fitted to Mr Ward's West/East facing roof.
We installed a 7.14kWp capacity system which would annually generate 5145kWh through solar alone. Our client also opted for an 8.2kWh GivEnergy battery to store his generated power. By taking advantage of the SEG, our client would also benefit from export payments from their utility provider in the peak months.
Our experienced install team were on site for a total of 2 days. The Jinko panels were protected by a market leading bird deterrent kit, and the system powered by a 5.00kW GivEnergy Inverter. As always, we gave the client a full tutorial on their new system and monitoring equipment upon completion. This was followed up with a GB Solar Handover pack including all product warranties, manufacturers guides, commissioning paperwork, MCS certification and DNO approval.
