GB Solar were pleased to have worked with our client, Mr Smith, to install a 9.57kWp system, which will achieve an annual output of 7,422kWh. We designed a PV solution which boasted high spec components including x22 Jinko solar panels, a 5kW GivEnergy Hybrid inverter and 9.5kWh of storage with a GivEnergy Battery. The solar panels were all protected using a PVC coated bird deterrent kit.
This system, now fully commissioned and live, will enable our client to generate 469% of their energy from solar. This gives them a 11% self-consumption rate, whilst exporting 89% of their electricity back to the grid. We recommend taking advantage of the SEG tariffs that will financially benefit the home owner in selling surplus energy back to the grid. With an impressive financial saving of £817 in year 1, our client will soon see a 71% reduction in their annual utility bill. Our GB Solar team were on site for a total of 2 days, and upon successful completion, we were happy to provide a full handover pack, including MCS certification and DNO approval, whilst also ensuring our client was familiar and confident in understanding their new PV system.
