GB Solar Case Study
Mr Lower, Chesterfield
Project Summary
A 7.98kWp system with battery storage - giving the home owner 50% self-consumption, with an impressive annual saving of £1,459.
We were delighted to work with our client, Mr Lower, to install a Solar PV and battery system on his family home in Nottingham. Our system performance predictions show that 160% of the generated energy will be from solar alone, allowing him to export 50% of his energy back to the grid (and take advantage of the SEG payments too!) This PV system, comprising 21 panels and a powerful 5.0kW inverter, is set to generate approximately 6,140kWh annually. The added 9.5kWh GivEnergy battery will allow Mr Lower to store excess energy and power his home during peak periods.
