Project Summary
We were pleased to have designed and installed this 4.6kWp PV system installation for our client in Clowne, showcasing the potential for significant energy savings and sustainable power generation. The installation comprised 10 high-performance 460Watt Aiko Solar panels, a 5.0kW GivEnergy Gen 3 Hybrid inverter and a market-leading 9.5kWh GivEnergy battery to provide exceptional energy storage. The panels were each protected by a strong, PVC Coated bird deterrent kit.

The estimated system performance predicts an huge 73% self-consumption rate, meaning a huge proportion of the generated energy will directly power the home. The remaining can be exported to the grid, enabling our client to take advantage of the SEG tariff. This system will generate an estimated 3,963kW of clean energy per year solely from solar power. This translates to significant cost savings on electricity bills, with a 81% reduction annually, and of course a smaller carbon footprint.
