Mr Bilson, Barnsley
Project Summary
GB Solar completed a full design, proposal and quotation for Mr Bilson, based on his homes current energy usage. We were pleased to present a 10.56kWp SolarEdge system that would offer him 55% grid independence, and benefit him financially with impressive energy bill savings.
Our client chose to go big! We designed a roof layout that included panels on each aspect, and opted for market leading JA solar 440Watt panels. We also integrated SolarEdge power optimizers for each panel - 24 in total. The power optimizers will maximize the output of each panel, particularly useful in areas which may experience partial shading or with panels facing multiple angles. The system is powered by an 8kWh SolarEdge inverter giving an annual output of 6,827kWh. We also installed a 10kWh SolarEdge battery.
GB Solar were on-site for 3 days to install Mr Bilson's system. Once the system was commissioned and live, our electricians gave our client a full walk through of their new system. GB Solar provides ongoing support to our customers as standard, and we ensure all systems are handed over with full electrical and MCS certification and DNO approval.
