Farncombe House, Worcestershire
Project Summary
We are pleased to present this Solar PV & Battery installation for our client, installed on a stunning traditional holiday home in Worcestershire. Following an initial consultation, we designed a 6.39kWp system, with an annual output of 4,683kWh. This system was designed and installed in accordance with SSEG, and fully certified with MCS guarantee, our our GB Solar proposal included all access equipment, solar pv mounting installation, and all electrical and cabling connections.
The installation consisted of 18 high-efficiency Longi Solar panels, powered by a 5.0kW Hybrid Inverter. Two 5.2kWh Home batteries will ensure the generated energy is stored and used to power at peak times, particularly the evening. We also installed a Solar iboost to provide the property with hot water heating diverted from the PV generation, therefore reducing the gas bill and of course, reliance on the grid.
Our installation team were on site for 3 days, and gave our client a full walk-through of the system upon completion. The system was notified to the local DNO through G99, meaning our back staff team applied for the new connection prior to the installation taking place. As always, we provided our client with a full owners manual which includes warranty details, MCS Certification and full HIES protection.
