Project Summary
GB Solar were pleased to have worked on this superb PV & Battery system, using a combination of Jinko panels, Solar Edge inverter and GivEnergy battery storage.
Our client opted for a combination of in-roof and on-roof panels with a 10.44kWp system that really packs a punch! This system will have an annual output of 8,349kWh, and here's the best part - the consumption offset a whopping 176%, a self-consumption rate of 26% and a HUGE 74% export potential - allowing Mr Ashley to be paid for his exported energy through the SEG tariff. We calculated the first year net savings to exceed £1,200 which will far surpass the home's energy consumption - £0 bills!
Our client opted for in-roof panels on the garage section of his PV System, of which we installed using GSE integration systems. In-roof panels are designed to sit flush with the roof, replacing the tile by mounting the panel onto the specialist rrays fitted to the original roof structure. They are lightweight, robust and aesthetically pleasing! The Jinko on-roof panels installed to the main house were all protected by bird guard. For optimum generation, we also installed x24 SolarEdge power optimizers to each panel.
With prior acceptance from the local DNO, our client was able to go BIG with an 8kW SolarEdge Inverter and the GivEnergy All-in-one which has 6kW of power and up to 13.5kWh of usable storage capacity.
