GB Solar Case Study
Mr Wells, Mansfield
Project Summary
We were pleased to have worked with Mr Wells for a Solar PV & battery storage installation on his home in Nottinghamshire.
Installing a 7.5kWp system, we designed a PV solution which boasted high spec components including x20 Eurener solar panels, a 5kW GivEnergy Hybrid inverter and 19kWh of storage with x2 GivEnergy 9.5kWh Batteries. The solar panels were all protected using a PVC coated bird deterrent kit.
We use bespoke software to design a proposal that is personalised to our customer, and Mr Wells received projections of proposed generation and savings based on his current energy usage at home. This system is estimated to generate 5,574kWh through solar alone, giving our client 60% self consumption, enabling him to become much less reliant on the grid. The benefits would of course enable him to run a much more greener and sustainable home, but also reduce his annual electricity bill by approximately 79%.
The GB Solar team gained full DNO approval prior to install, and completed the project with a customer handover pack and certification. Our install team were onsite for a total of three days.

The install team were very good, and asked about the position of everything before mounting panels etc. All left clean and tidy.
