Project Summary
We are pleased to present the completion of this 8.265kWp PV and Battery system for our client, Mr. Burr. The system is designed to achieve an impressive 68% self-consumption rate, meaning Mr. Burr will generate and utilize a significant portion of his own energy needs, whilst also reducing his reliance on the grid. By opting for x2 GivEnergy 9.5kWh Batteries, giving a combined storage total of 19kWh, our client will benefit from storing his excess energy to partially offset his usage and power appliances in the evening and night. The battery system also enables our client to use his stored energy as backup power if any outages occur.
This system is set to generate 120% of energy consumption from solar panels directly, delivering a substantial 67% reduction in Mr. Burr's annual energy bill.
Our GB Solar installation team were on site for a total of 3 days, to complete the necessary roof mounting and fitting the panels, which were each protected by a high-quality bird deterrent. Our electrical engineers were professional and neat in installing and commissioning the GivEnergy 5.0kW Hybrid Inverter and battery systems. Upon completion, we ensured Mr Burr was given full access to his monitoring portal and walked through his new system by our engineer, with a life-time support guarantee from GB Solar for any technical support.
