Mr Bacon, Retford
Project Summary
Mr Bacon approached us with a bespoke request to install panels on an existing pergola in his garden. The purpose built oak structure offered a beautiful aesthetic and also allowed for the panels to be positioned for peak solar generation.
We proposed a 3.78kwp capacity system which would generate approximately 60% of Mr Bacon's energy from solar alone. This would half his annual electricity bill and see an ROI in just over 6 years.
Our install team fitted nine Jinko 420Watt All Black panels, powered by a 3.6kWh GivEnergy Hybrid Inverter, giving our client a estimated annual generation of 3012kWh. The added 9.5kWh GivEnergy battery also ensured our client could store the free energy he will generate - enabling him to run his home both cheaply and sustainably.
Once the install was live and fully commissioned we gave Mr Bacon a full walk through of his new system and monitoring portal. As always, we provided a full handover pack and ensured the install was notified to the DNO under G98 regulations.
