Mr Hodgson, Chesterfield
Project Summary
We presented Mr Hodgson with a full and in-depth proposal; detailing his predicted system performance calculations, electricity bill savings & financial impacts and full product breakdown and warranties.
Based on feedback from our client's annual electricity consumption, we recommended a 6.72kWp capacity system. This would produce an annual output of 6,122kWh, generating 178% of Mr Hodgson's energy from solar. The system would see significant savings on our clients bill, and with payments through the SEG (smart export guarantee), Mr Hodgson should see an annual bill reduction of 112%.
Our install team were on-site for a total of two days. We installed 16 Jinko panels, protected with PVC coated bird deterrent. We used a GivEnergy hybrid Inverter, to give a total of 5kW inverter power, and a 9.5kWh GivEnergy battery. The project also included a MyEnergi Eddi Immersion Heater Diverter to provide our client with hot water heating from solar, and a 7kW Zappi EV Charger.
Once the system was live and commissioned, Mr Hodgson was given a full walk through of key components, operation & system monitoring. GB Solar handled all DNO Notifications and presented Mr Hodgson with a full handover pack upon project completion.
